Day 1

So saturday I did some Yoga for about half an hour, then swam for a bit. Before going about the rest of my  day. Yesterday I did 50 minutes of yoga, swam a little, did my day then went for a longer swim in a lake last night. My body is feeling exhausted, but in a good way.

But, I said today would be by first day on a new work out schedule, that I've kind of mish-mashed together in my head. I think it'll be interchangeable, depending on if I could get a workout in or not during work, but this is what I am looking at:

Day 1: Spartan workout ( they have a 30 day program I will loosely follow in this way, picking up on whatever day is my Spartan day)
Day 2: Spartan workout
Day 3: Run. This week my goal is 5 kms, but my heel is still all chewed up.
Day 4: Spartan Workout.
Day 5: Spartan Workout
Day 6: Longer run / Yoga to stretch it out
Day 7: Rest with Yoga/Swim

Then repeat.

When I say interchangeable, I  mean that if I was not able to get something in at the office, or if I worked later than intended, I'll do at least some yoga and swim. I'll probably be swimming in the evening every day anyways, with my pool up and running finally, but I wont depend on it being my sole work out of the day.

The Spartan workout of the Day goes in four levels, and I'm starting at the lowest one again, and every month I'll go up one level. I have three goals for this:
 1. Oct-Nov I'll be doing  training that will be very physically demanding, and I want to be in the best shape I can be going in.
2. I'm getting married in Hawaii at the beginning of December, and want to be in decent shape for that. and
3. I want to work towards being a bit more competitive in the Spartan Races next year, instead of just going for a completion. I know I wont be in the top three, but I want to post better times, that's for sure.

Oh, weigh in: 138.6 .  I'm not going for losing weight, cause honestly my legs are the most toned they've been in a while, and I've got ab definition coming out, but just to show a starting point.
